What is KeikenCon and who created it?
The Rowan University KeikenCon is a lively and inclusive, student-run anime convention devoted to experiencing, understanding, and celebrating anime and related art forms by showcasing its influence on contemporary society. The event is organized by Rowan University’s Anime Club, with the kind assistance and support of the Student Government Association, the Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement & Commuter Services, the Rowan University Libraries Digital Scholarship Center, and numerous student clubs. The event is run solely by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Does 100% of all ticket proceeds really go to charity?
Yes, absolutely. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping New Jersey families facing childhood cancer. For more information on the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation.
Please note that food, vendor, and artist proceeds do not go to our selected charity.
Who can attend KeikenCon?

How do I get to KeikenCon and where do I park?
KeikenCon is centrally located on Rowan University’s campus and plentiful parking will be available. Handicap parking is close to the venue, James Hall. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for more detailed information.
Can I cosplay?
Yes, absolutely! KeikenCon encourages and celebrates anime, cosplay, and all forms of creative expression. Please keep in mind that we do have strict restrictions on props and weapons. Please visit or Policies page for more information.
